As part of its 20th birthday, Flashback will be back on Xbox Live Arcade on August 21st. The new version of the game will be in 3D and High definition as part of the Summer Arcade sale, which will also include the 90s version of the game.
Ubisoft announced the remake of the iconic 1992 game, for 800 Microsoft points. It will also be available for Playstation Network and Digital PC this autumn. The original team redesigned their game by using today’s best engines, but have remained true to what made the original so great. The classic side-scroller became one of the standards for the 90s and now players can enjoy the sci-fi Action/Adventure game.
Along with the updated game, Ubisoft also announced the original Flashback will be included. Players now have the chance to relive a cult classic.
Conrad is back to save humanity once again, from species of alien morphs set on absorbing everyone’s minds and merging out species with theirs. Players will able to shoot and roll their way through levels to help Conrad save the world and his sweet girlfriend.
