
Take a spin on one of the most legendary tracks in Motorsport
Turn 10 Studios have announced today that they will be releasing the Road America track as the first track add-on update for Forza 5 and it won’t cost players a penny. The track will be introduced as a fully integrated addition into the game and will be automatically added into the career events section.
The infamous track includes high speed straights and tight, challenging turns and is one of the oldest and most distinguished tracks in North America, bought to life with the spectacular detail that the Xbox One offers.
Players will be able to race on the circuit in both main career events and career bonus events, which are available after a mini career series is completed.
If this wasn’t enough, for the first time ever, Road America will also feature four alternate ribbons that are designed to test the limits of a players skill. There are also new themed events in the Rivals Mode and in the multi-player lobbies.

In other Forza news, Turn 10 have announced that this instalment has broken all previous sales records. The game has been embraced by Xbox One fans all over the globe, with more than 30% of console owners snapping the game up since its launch on the 22nd of November.
Racers in the game, known as Drivatars (click here for more info on Drivatars), have been working non-stop to populate the game with races and challenges.
So far there has been:
- One Billion races since launch
- 652 million road miles amassed
- A combined total gameplay of 8 million hours
This just goes to show that the Forza series is home to the most passionate fans of racing video games.
There are also the livery editor tools that have kept players busy, from content creators to fans that just want to modify their cars in their garage.
There are hundreds of thousands of liveried cars available that have been created by community members and are comprised of more than 60 million individual layers.
