Get Ready for the Medal of Honor Warfighter Beta

Danger Close Games and EA are to be releasing an exclusive, Xbox 360 open multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor Warfighter coming out around October.

In the Multiplayer Beta, the most elite soldiers in the world go head-to-head to see who’s better. Gamers can choose from a variety of 12 soldier units such as the British SAS, German KSK, Russian Spetsnaz, Korean UDT and U.S. Navy SEALS. The game is powered by EA’s famous Frostbite™ 2 game engine which is known for its destructive environments. Medal of Honor Warfighter is a unique game that lets these different soldiers from different locations in the world, battle each other to see who’s superior.

Medal of Honor Warfighter will include a brand new multiplayer game type called, “Hotspot.” In the game mode, players get to attack and defend random locations on the Sarajevo Stadium map in Bosnia. Players team-up in pairs using the Fireteam system, inspired by real life military operations, for an advantage in the game.

Warfighter is to bring the most realistic military shooter experiences to date with actual U.S. Tier 1 Operators writing the story. The game is inspired by actual people, places, and real operations. The game showcases international hotspots in the single-player part of the game and for Multiplayer it introduces Tier 1 Operators which allow players to show their national pride.

Gamers who join the beta can earn 60 minutes of DOUBLE XP when the game launches and come together to unlock Linkin Park’s “Castle of Glass” music video early at the three million beta download mark. So for all of you Xbox gamers out there, why don’t you keep an eye out for the beta and download it to unlock an early look at Linkin Park’s new music video as well as free DOUBLE XP.

Players that pre-order the Limited Edition before the October 26th launch date will get the Medal of Honor Warfighter, The Hunt Map Pack for free. The game is to be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
