GRID 2 Release

The long-awaited sequel to the BAFTA award-winning racing game GRID has been announced, and with that comes the new TrueFeel and LiveRoute systems. TrueFeel will deliver “edge-of-control racing without the need for assists,” and LiveRoute will change the tracks during the race, so players won’t know what’s coming next.

As GRID 2 roars onto shelves, the social aspect of the game rushes out of beta and into the finished product. RaceNet, the “beating heart” of GRID 2’s multiplayer, brings many new features that will enhance the gamer’s experience. RaceNet will add new objectives and rivals each week so the player will never be without a race again. It will also allow the players to upload footage of their best moments to the site, earn followers and awards and “much, much more.” If you want to sign up to this multiplayer experience, head on over to www.racenet.com

To accommodate the release of their new game, Codemasters has uploaded an amazing gameplay trailer that features their best cars, locations and events.

AUTHORS OPINION: I am so pleased that the GRID 2 release has come. I enjoyed the first game and felt that the game had something that some of the other racing games didn’t. The TrueFeel and LiveRoute will enhance the experience ten-fold and will set the bar for the racing games to come.
