Guild Wars 2 New Queen’s Jubilee’s Update

With ArenaNet’s promise to deliver new Guild Wars 2 content every two weeks, Queen’s Jubilee was announced today with it going live on August the 6th. It is the 3rd update since they officially adopted the content deliver schedule, giving the games world a whole bunch of extended content for players to experience. In this new exciting DLC, players will celebrate the 10 years of Queen Jennah’s rule by the option of take a hot air balloon to Divinity’s Reach, the capital of the human nation Kryta, also the home of the opening ceremonies.

Players will also be able to get a early look at the new update during a livestream with the Arenanet developers on the 5th of August at noon. Along with this livestream event, the rewards and features including in Queen’s Jubilee follow:

The featured new events:

  • Hot Air Balloons: The Queen has sent hot air balloons to transport you to Tyria to experience the celebration, players can find the hot air balloons in the open world and hop a fun, quick ride to the party.
  • The Opening Ceremony: Players can attend the new dedication of the Crown Pavilion, a new arena that has been commissioned for the celebration.
  • Enter the Crown Pavilion: Players will be put to the test with this new mini-zone that will feature mighty human enemies. Players can be named the champion of a nation and gain access to various reward vendors.
  • Fight in the Queen’s Gauntlet: Players can battle in single combat challenges against unique bosses.

The new rewards that will be in the update:

  • Watchwork Mechanisms: The new watchwork technology can be used to craft recipes or used as currency in the Crown Pavilion to buy the new items that the update offers.
  • Mini Watchknight: If you can complete the Queen’s Jubilee meta achievement , then you will earn this mini watchknight

New Features:

  • Account Wallet for Currency: Players can now keep all of their currency in one wallet, making all of it accessible to any of the characters on their accounts.
  • PvP Solo Queue: With the new solo arena matches, you can now join PvP matches without having to gather a full team or fight against any pre-formed groups. It will also feature its own leaderboard, so players can earn a rank without affecting their teams ranking.
  • Bonus Rewards for Dungeons: This offers new incentives for defeating the dungeons. Each day for finishing a unique path or dungeon, players will receive a bonus for the completion.
  • Mini-Game Rotation System: Players now can take part in a new, daily mini-game rotation that was promised by both of the Captains Council candidates in the previous update. The rotation includes Sanctum Sprint, Keg Brawl, Southsun Survival, and Crab Toss.
