Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F is finally coming to the West

Japans most popular digital singer is finally making her Western gaming debut

Sega are happy to announce that Hatsune Miku is coming to the west for the first time ever with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F for both the PlayStation 3 and PSN in North America and just on the PSN in Europe.

For anyone who does not know who Hatsune Miku is, she is currently the most popular digital singer who has been produced by Crypton Future Media, INC. She has a cult following outside of Japan with over 950,000 fans on Facebook and when she had her first ever concert outside of Japan in Los Angeles it sold out nearly instantly!

The reason that Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F is actually getting released outside of Japan is due to the fact that on her Facebook page Sega asked fans to like and share an image of her to show their support and within three days it got 25,000 likes and 15,000 shares.

It's hard to imagine this being made outside of Japan isn't it.

Anyway Hatsune Miku; Project Diva F is as you may have guessed a rhythm game (they were going to make it a FPS but they figured it would be embarrassing. Go figure) that will feature over 38 songs including popular songs like “Tell Your World”.

Along with playing to her songs, you will also be able to customise the way she looks with over 90 costumes and 100 accessories as well as make their own music videos in the games “Edit Mode”. While the “Edit Mode” does sound like a good addition it will depend on how much customising you are allowed to do with your videos.

Fans, and anyone curious as to what Hatsune Miku actually is, can download the game’s demo June 11th in America and June 12th in Europe.

Hatsune Miku is schedules to be released on the PS3 and PSN in North America and on PSN in Europe this August.
