Colonies Online is a new game world that will be consisting of a great number of planets, each with areas of thousands of kilometres. The objective of this game is to earn your spot in these areas, either doing this by yourself, or teaming up with a group of friends to form a enclave. When you join or are in a enclave you can then start building colonies.
The colonies are an area where research is done and where you keep the equipment or supplies you find. With all of these items in a colony, they will become of great interest to competitors. If you do happen to take over a colony, that will be a good way for you to cripple the enemy as well as take some of their supplies. This is the philosophy that the game will be using, “Everything in the game is created by players themselves.” All of the items that are made in-game will be made completely by the players through the crafting system the game offers.
Colonies Online does not offer a levelling system to players, but instead they will gain new professions that will give them certain skills. The way the player would like to play is by them, they get to choose their professions. The game also offers PVP, allowing for battles for up to a hundred players at a time.
