Ubisoft’s best selling dance simulator for kids is back again as they recently announced that the newest entry in the series, Just Dance Kids 2014 is in development for the Wii, Wii U and the Xbox 360 and will be released, as the title suggests, in 2014
“We’ve seen parents, teachers and families from around the world bring our Just Dance Kids games into their living rooms and classrooms over the past few years,” said Geoffroy Sardin, vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft EMEA. “We’re dedicated to making Just Dance Kids 2014 our best Kids dance game to date with new music, dance moves and features to make the dance experience fun for the entire family.”
There are several new modes in the game with some being exclusive to certain consoles. The Xbox edition will get the Just Create Mode, a freestyle mode in which kids can create their own choreography. The Wii U version will be packing the Dance Director Mode which puts one player in control of the Wii U pad who can dictate which dance moves come up in the song potentially catching players by surprise. Both editions as well as all other versions will come with the Parents Corner which lets parents see statistics in the game such as how many calories their kids are losing while dancing.
There are over 30 songs from kids pop stars, movies, TV shows such as “Give your heart a break” by Demi Lovato, “Make it Shine”, We’ll all go together” by Goldheart and “One Thing” by One Direction. The game will be released in the UK on October 25th 2014
