Ubisoft released the Khyber Strike DLC for Ghost Recon Future Soldier players and is now available for download on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network.
The Khyber Strike DLC features three new multiplayer maps for players to go head to head and for them to dominate their enemies. In “Switchback”, players will shoot through a maze of ancient buildings and narrow passages, providing the ultimate close-quarters deathtrap. “Palace” takes place in a museum turned into a battlefield with a huge courtyard at the heart of the map. “Transit” is a close-quarters map which takes place in a Moscow metro station while trains pull out and into the station.
The new Khyber Strike DLC comes with a new Guerilla Mode Map called “Village.” Village is a former peaceful village but is now turned into a battlefield as there is fighting around the village’s bus station. In the map, players can use the long alleyways between buildings for a perfect sniping hunting ground. There is a possibility that a battle near the village’s gas station might blow up in your face, LITERALLY. This new map can be played alone, on split-screen, on LAN, or online with your friends.
Aside from the new Guerilla Mode map, the Khyber Strike DLC will include a new game mode called “Takeover”, according to the trailer. Takeover is like Team Deathmatch but with a twist. Instead of players trying to find each other in the huge multiplayer maps, this game mode will include special objective points with point multipliers for teams to defend.
The Khyber Strike DLC will add more achievements to bump up that gamer score or trophy collection. For people who buy the DLC, they will be getting a chance to expand their character’s progression.
