Largest Event In MLG History Breaks Attendee Records

Major League Gaming (MLG) had more than 21,000 fans and competitors that attended the Spring Championship in Anaheim, CA from June 28-30, which is the largest event in MLG history. During these three days, $105,000 in prizes were up for grabs by hundreds of the worlds best gaming competitors. Announced by MLG, the next up coming Pro Circuit Championship will be in Columbus, Ohio, From November 22-24. More details on the event will be announced soon.

MLG had professional athletes to join gamers on the 29,Saturday, to show off their skills. This All Star Showdown had Dwight Howard – Los Angeles Lakers, Dez Bryant – Dallas Cowboys, Ty Lawson – Denver Nuggets and DeJuan Blair –San Antonio Spurs. They all competed in front of thousands of fans. Dwight Howard even commentated in the casting booth with the well known MLG’s Chris Puckett and Mike “Hastro” Rufail.

The winners of the MLG Spring Championship are: FXOpen eSports– league of legends, Compexity– Call Of Duty: Black Ops II on Xbox 360, and Polt– StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.
