After being in development for over two years, the indie game Life in the Dorms is finally available on Xbox Live.
Created by the combined efforts of Ted Hung (creator of Office DisOrders) and Paul Franzen (Editor-in-Chief of GameCola.net), Life in the Dorms covers a subject that a few of us can relate to… college. College orientation, strange roommates, and ramen are some of the first things that pop into mind when hearing the title and watching the trailer. Ah, freshman year. How I dreaded you so.
The player will be joining Dack Peeples on his thrilling adventure through the wondrous life of college living. Where some guys and gals are excited to get their college life started, Dack isn’t one of those people. And who can blame him? He’ll have to deal with homesickness, insane roommates, and live off of the salty deliciousness of ramen noodles. Oh, and did I mention that he’ll have to deal with bears? Dack is certainly in for an eventful semester.
Help Dack find money for his ramen supply, retrieve toilet paper from high shelves, and deal with jerk roommates in this college simulator. Join him as he discovers the meaning of love, friendship, and survival.
Life in the Dorms promises to bring bears and murder, clever and humorous dialogue, and tie in with Office DisOrders. All of this for a price lower than that of a notebook.
