MMOs are all the craze this year and just when things began to get quiet Square Enix developer of the legendary Final Fantasy series has officially announced the rerelease of their latest MMO ‘Final Fantasy XIV Online’.
Within this relaunch comes a feature that fans of the highly regarded series of games have always come to love and that is Limit Breaks. This unique, over the top abilities allow players to tap into their character’s “inner strength” and release a powerful attack that will put massive damage on your chosen enemy, or finish them off once and for all in a blaze of magic and might!
It is no secret that Final Fantasy XIV Online was a little…disappointing to fans. The release of the game was doused in a sea of glitches, bugs and technical issues which made the land of Eorzea a very uncomfortable place for adventurers to live in.
Square heard the out-cry though and with the companies faith in this from ground up rebuild of the once highly anticipated game, I am sure we can put our trust in the multi-award winning company and once again slay foul beasts with friends in the beautiful online Final Fantasy universe.
Final Fantasy XIV Online sees you take control of the currently available five races that exist within the lands of Eorzea. With these uniquely aesthetic inhabitants, you begin your quest for fame and glory with, or without the support of players from around the world. You can even ride the franchise beloved chocobos to all your chosen destinations as you quest further and further in the world of crystals.
Final Fantasy XIV has everything an aspiring adventurer should need, including a selection of different character classes, an expansive crafting system unlike any other MMO and a newly added Job system that lets you switch out and use unique class specific abilities in aiding your character’s always growing set of skills.
Will you be joining the heroes of Eorzea? I know I will be!
