Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is going to be having a limited edition of the game which was announced by Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. The game will be released on February 19, 2013 in North America.
The limited edition bundle of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will include the full game, the official soundtrack, a limited edition 2-sided steelbook, and an exclusive high-frequency katana blade plasma lamp.
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is developed by Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames which is being taken to a new and unique perspective in the Metal Gear series. The game will deliver an amazing action experience along with extremely epic storytelling along with pure action and a visually expansive Metal Gear universe. Players will be experiencing quick, fluid-like gameplay and also an exciting rush of synergy.
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will introduce Raiden, the main character, a child soldier turned into an ultimate cyborg ninja machine of death. The tools that Raiden will use are going to be an electrifying high-frequency katana blade and a soul fueled by revenge.
The game will be a third person melee combat type game and will involve a destructive environment where almost anything can be cut down with Raiden’s Katana, especially vehicles. There is to be a “free slicing” mode called Blade Mode, where players can see what and where they cut before they do it. The mode will also allow players to slice a target in several areas before they touch the ground. You can just see how awesome the gameplay and combat system will be by this example. The Blade Mode can be used to exploit enemy weak points, cut down columns to collapse ceilings or walls, deflect enemy fire, or to cut through objects or cover.
The limited edition of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will be available on February 19th, 2013 in North America for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
