Get your spook on in July. Lone Survivor coming to PS3 and Vita in summer time of 2013.
Lone Survivor, created by Jasper Byrne, is a PC game that is making its way to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. We’ve known for awhile that this was coming to the PS3 and Vita, we just didn’t know when. In fact, Lone Survivor was one of my top 5 Vita games to watch out for in 2013, you can check that out here.
As mentioned above, Lone
Survivor is a PC indie game, but the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions will be getting their own perks. There will be various new items in game, new dialogue, two big new side quests, and a new ‘yellow’ ending as well. Lone Survivor will also be the beneficiary of Cross-Buy and Cross-Save between the PS3 and Vita. And, of course, it will feature Trophies as well.
If you are curious about Lone Survivor here is a newly released trailer of it. And, FYI, the protagonist isn’t smiling.
Also, worth noting two different teams are working on Lone Survivor. Curve is working on the PlayStation Vita version and Superflat is working on the PlayStation 3 version. I’m definitely pretty pumped about this game. I’m a big fan of survival horror games and good survival horror games have been few, and far between. I’ve heard good things about Lone Survivor, so, we shall see. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on it and trying both versions of the game out.
There is no price on Lone Survivor, yet, but I’d expect somewhere in the 15-20 dollar range. Just based off other indie titles like this. So, what do you guys think? Are you interested in Lone Survivor on the PS3/Vita? Have you played the PC version? If so, did you like it? Whatever your thoughts are on Lone Survivor, leave your comments below.
