Gazillion entertainment have decided to live up to their name by releasing a massive update for their free to play game Marvel Heroes which includes a ton of new features but most notably, This Marvel Heroes patch introduces the Human Torch as a playable character.
Several other features have been introduced such as items called “eternity splinters” which will supposedly allow you to unlock any hero in any order that you choose. A new zone has also been included named midtown patrol and several minor improvements have been made including but not limited to UI enhancements, increased experience rates, performance improvements as well as many characters being upgraded with even more build options further increasing the customisability of your heroes.
Moving back to The Human Torch, Marvel’s resident flamer comes with an additional 25 powers and multiple build options to suit any style of play. To commemorate the release of this patch, Gazillion entertainment have released the Human Torch Character Development diary. Marvel Heroes is a free MMO game in which you can heavily customise your character with a deep levelling system, equipment and a crafting system as well as being able to wear costumes from a character’s entire history including costumes from recent superhero films. Writers opinion: In my personal opinion, I don’t think it was a good choice using The Human Torch as the poster boy for the update. Don’t get me wrong, he is a popular character just not really popular in my opinion to warrant an entire update. I mean, the update was clearly released to keep gamers going until the Asguard expansion so I’m not saying that it was a bad update, it was just an ungraceful one.
