With everyone going Avengers mad, it was no surprise to see gamers experience the new upcoming Free-to-Play MMO Marvel Heroes this week at Gamescom.
Gazillion Entertainment, one of the leading developers in the massively multiplayer online gaming genre, today announced that the highly anticipated game will be unveiled to the press and public this week during the Gamescom 2012 extravaganza in Germany. Exhibition goers will get to experience the new take on the MMO genre through fluid, action packed gameplay and an original comic book story written by legendary comic writer Brian Michael Bendis.
Gazillion Entertainment, best known for their creation on the now god-like franchise Diablo wants to give fans a more fresh experience in the already drained MMO scene. David Brevik, President of Gazillion was especially excited to unveil the eagerly game that will let players fight alongside their favourite mutants as they put a stop to comic villain Magneto in the exclusive demo that will be revealed this week.
“We are incredibly excited to unveil Marvel Heroes to the European media for the first time during Gamescom 2012,” said Brevik “The game really is the perfect blend of action-RPG gameplay, the persistence and multiplayer features of an MMO, and the incredible legacy of the Marvel Universe.”
Marvel Heroes looks to be the first of a planned series of games between Marvel and the development giant.

Marvel Heroes sets the stage for an all new take on the iconic Marvel Universe by combining the core playstyle of current MMOs with the already explosive library of super heroes within the Marvel canon. The game aims to let players collect and play as their favourite Marvel heroes, including Spider Man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America and many more.
