Bringing you all the excitement of the legendary MCM London Comic Con to the North West, this awesome show blasts back to Manchester Central on Saturday 20th July for a day chock-a-block with all things geeky.
VIP guests confirmed for the event include Warwick Davis, whose Hollywood credentials are Star Wars, Willow and the Harry Potter film franchise, to name a few; Kai Owen, famous for playing Rhys Williams in Torchwood; Rupert Young and Eoin Macken, who star in the acclaimed fantasy series, Merlin, and Gerran Howel (Vlad), Clare Thompson (Ingrid) and Simon Ludders (Renfield) from Young Dracula, the award-winning children’s BBC TV show.
The bigger and better hall will also be hosting such giants as Nintendo and Koch Media, which previews Saints Row IV. The packed out comic village area will be the location of amazing talented artists and writers such as John McCrea, Anthony Johnston, Lee Bradley, Laura Howell, Jack Lawrence, Al Davidson, and not forgetting the heavy metal band The Dead Lay Waiting, with their brand new original comic!
Also featuring in MCM Manchester Comic Con are costume competitions, onstage panels, a Dance Dance Revolution and retro gaming zone, the battling bots from Robot Live, and various stands selling their wares – everything from sci-fi collectables to souvenirs. There will be retailers at the convention including anime distributors, Manga Entertainment, Tokyo Toys, MyM Magazine and NEO.
What’s more, KIDS GO FREE! As if it wasn’t great enough, to make it an even better day out for all the family, we’re giving kids 10 and under entry absolutely free, if accompanied by a paying adult. Up to two children are allowed per adult.
