The newest Naruto game 'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3' was shown at the Tokyo Game Show and is to be released sometime around Spring 2013 by CyberConnect2 and Namco Bandai. The game is to be released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Even though the trailer is in Japanese, we can take a lot out of it to see what is coming in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.From the trailer, we can say that the game’s story will contain the battle of the Nine Tails invasion, the events of the Five Kage Summit arc, and the Fourth Great Shinobi World War arc. The trailer also shows that players are able to fight epic battles against each other and play the story mode as different characters like Sasuke which is similar to other Naruto games. The game will also feature a melee type mode as always with your favourite characters from the Naruto series.
I know what you and I must have been thinking. Another Naruto game? But as always it serves a huge anime fan base and people go crazy over the series. The battle against Naruto and Sasuke got me excited to get Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. All the graphics and action are addictive even though I haven’t played a Naruto game properly before.
In an Interview The CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama commented on the new combat when he said, “Of course, we made some improvements on the combat system. For now, we can talk about two of them. One is about the Awakening mode. We added a system that improves the flow of characters awakening during combats depending on their skills. The second key improvement is the integration of a brand new system called “Secret Factor” which can be activated during the fights in the Free Battle mode. If you find the right combo a new cinematic will launch the devastating fury of your character.”
Hiroshi Matsuyama also commented about Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3’s story mode by saying, “In the story mode we kept all the strategic aspects that made the success of Naruto Storm 2, such as the cinematic experience as well the large scale fights with power explosions and visual effects. We also added a very innovative new type of gameplay, but I can’t talk about it yet. But I’m sure that you will have good times playing it.”
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is also to be released with 3D TV functionality to experience the visual rendering and sensations of the game. Now here is some gameplay from the game.
