Portal 2 fans everywhere will be excited to hear that NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association Inc.)and WizKids, in partnership with the Valve Corporation, will be developing and releasing a brand new line of Portal 2 Sentry Turret Collectible Figurines, which will be available on October 2012. The Sentry Turrets were obstacles that the player encountered in Portal 2 while they navigated through the complex, puzzle-like stages. Though the figurines won’t necessarily blast intruders that happen to invade your personal space, you can rest easily, knowing that the figurines will intimidate them.
The Portal 2 Sentry Turret Collectible Figurines stand at a height of 3 in. and will come in both the Open and Closed versions. To add a little variety in your tiny arsenal, the figurines come in different skins such as camouflage and animal print.
NECA/WizKids and Valve also announced that they will be giving Portal 2 fans a chance to vote on one of four designs: a Lightning-motif turret, a turret with “Mom” tattooed on it, a turret with a Wood Grain pattern, and a turret with a Hawaiian shirt print.
