Well the new trailer called “A Legendary Connection Is Confirmed” has actually confirm that the still unnamed Pokémon does have a “mysterious connection” to Mewtwo but don’t take my word for it here’s the animated trailer.
So did you watch the trailer yet? If not then you may as well since it’s only 12 seconds long and only 8 of those actually show anything. It just seems like there trying too hard to hype up this new Pokémon some more doesn’t it? Sorry got side tracked anyway but the trailer really makes it look more than likely that the new Pokémon will be a form instead of an evolved Pokémon.
This will bug a lot of Pokémon fans because there have already been a lot of forms already since their introduction way back in Pokémon Silver and Gold. Honestly I was hoping that it would be an evolution but the trailer practical destroys that theory. That being said however this could just be the new look for when Pokémon evolve because they do change the look of evolutions every single generation but that’s not likely.
Giving Pokémon different forms can be cool if it’s done well like how they did it with Giratina’s two forms. They both looked pretty cool and they both had there uses so the forms didn’t feel annoying or pointless unlike say Burmy or its evolution which were both pointless so it’ll be interesting to see how different the new form will be from Mewtwo since the moves it showed off in the previous trailer can also be used by Mewtwo.
So that’s the A Legendary Connection Is Confirmed trailer and the trailer itself looks nice but I have a curious question for you. What Pokémon from the first two generations would you want to see evolve and why or do you think we should just leave them alone and obviously what is your opinion on the newest member of the Mew family.
