Geabox Software and 2k games were proud to announce the release of new Borderlands 2 DLC, available on all systems worldwide. The DLC contains one new head and skin set, and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge, that offers fans of the franchise many more hours of looting enemies and causing destruction on Pandora.
Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, had the following to say about the release.
After the close of the Season Pass, we promised fans they could expect more great content for Borderlands 2.Gearbox has been hard at work to provide additional top-shelf offerings for the title, and both our casual and hardcore fans alike will appreciate what’s laid on the table with this wave of exciting new downloadable content.
The new DLC offers 11 new levels for the characters and more awesome gear. It also includes the new “Raid on Digistruck Peak” map, offering a new challenge for the hardcore fans. The two DLC’s are available seprately for $4.99 or apart of the season pass that costs $29.99. The level cap will now increase up to level 72 with more rare loot available to find. The new head and skin set will be available for 0.99 cents each to further customize the characters.
