Download the Company of Heroes 2 E3 demo today.
You may have heard about the new Company of Heroes 2 demo, that was shown at E3, and you can try it for yourself right now just by going to the game’s page on Steam.
Company of Heroes 2 is the anticipated sequel to the well-received strategy game – Company of Heroes, that came out in 2006. Selling more than 4 million copies worldwide, the game was very successful. Critically acclaimed as one of the best strategy games of all time, make sure you do not miss the sequel.
The demo features a mission called “The Land Bridge to Leningrad” that can be accessed about halfway through the game’s campaign. In it, the player is told to advance across a frozen lake that just happens to be under heavy German fire. Players are able to play a nice section of the level, but the full mission is left exclusive to the retail game.
This mission will be included as part of the currently running Open Beta on Steam. Players who have the beta installed will notice the Campaign button on the title screen is now unlocked. If you click on it, it will take you to the mission select screen where the demo can be launched. New players will need to download the Open Beta from the game’s page on Steam.
New tutorial videos are currently being built to help out all the new players familiarize themselves with the unique controls in Company of Heroes 2.
This demo will be available to play along with the Open Beta up until Tuesday, June 18th.
