Season 2 Now Available!
Microsoft have announced that the second season of Kinect Sesame Street TV is available now to download now. Kinect Sesame Street TV invites children to an interactive television experience. Kids will be able to watch and interact with their favourite Sesame Street episodes and engage with characters including Big Bird, Grover, Oscar and Elmo amongst others.
Kinect Sesame Street TV transforms passive viewing into active participation. Kinect encourages children to use their gestures, voices and bodies to interact with educational content onscreen without the need for a controller.
In the series children will be able to interact with Sesame Street characters. They will be able to help with tasks, play in the Sesame Street world and learn through playing. Young gamers will be able to learn how to jump like a frog with Elmo, learn letters with the Cookie Monster and count with Grover. Sesame Street TV for Kinect provides children with new and exciting ways to learn and play at the same time.
Kinect Sesame Street TV” season two includes newly added Xbox SmartGlass technology, which allows users to create customised playlists from their favourite Sesame Interactive Episode segments and Archive Video Clips. SmartGlass is available now as a free app on Windows 8, Windows Phone, iOS and Android.
Kinect Sesame Street TV is available now for download now on Xbox Live.
Season 2 costs 2400 Microsoft Points for eight 30 minute episodes. Alternatively each episode can be bought individually for 400 Microsoft Points.
Season 1 of Kinect Sesame Street can also be purchased from retailers for a RRP of £29.99.
