
NHL 15 Features Have Been Revealed By EA Sports For The Xbox One and PS4 Versions.
- True Hockey Physics
A first in the series, new realistic physics will affects the players on the ice as they collide. By using the new power of the consoles every players will be controlled by this new system on in the game. Fans will be able to witness pile-ups, secondary collisions, and net scrambles.
- Puck Physics
Being one of the most complex items on the ice to create and replicate, with the new NHL 15 physics engine all interactions with the puck come alive such as the ice surface, puck spins, and bounces as seen in the real games.
- Next-generation Hockey Players
New player models have been completely rebuilt, including the jerseys, equipments, and movements of the professionally players on the ice. All interactions with the puck on the ice have been given great detail, and with new dynamic cloth technology that brings realism to the ice in new ways for the character models. By using the same engine from EA Sports UFC, character likeness, movement, and emotion have all been brought to the game.
Along with character animations being revamped, new vision AI brings another level of intelligence to characters with other players predicting their environments and team breakouts.
- NBC Sports Broadcast package
NHL 15 introduces a brand new cast of commentators in the form of NBC commentary team Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick and Eddie Olczyk, along with analyst Ray Ferraro as they bring their flavor and predictions to the game. Featuring over 35,000 lines of dialogue. This is all possible thanks to the partnership with NBC Sports, the game will now feature pre-game footage of commentary against the NHL 15 graphics in which worlds finally collide.
- New Arena Experience
Crowd models have been rebuilt from the ground up with 9000 in model characters, each individuals with different animations and interactions from wearing your jerseys to holding up signs with your name.
