The Legacy of Kain Reboot is almost upon us!
Today Square Enix released the first trailer for Nosgoth, a free-to-play multiplayer game set in Crystal Dynamics’ Legacy of Kain universe. Described as a competitive, team-based human versus vampire multiplayer game, Nosgoth pits the two factions against one another in a blood-soaked battle to the death.
In Nosgoth, players must use each race’s unique fighting style to conquer and crush the opposition in a war for supremacy and survival.
RACES
- HUMANS — Arm yourself for the hunt with an arsenal of devastating ranged weaponry and specialized equipment.
- VAMPIRES — Unleash your inhuman force with savage close-combat melee attacks and supernatural abilities

I still remember playing the Soul Reaver and Legacy of Kain series on my PlayStation 2. For many, the Legacy of Kain series remains the only set of games to ever come close to a decent vampire game. That holds true to this day, and we fans have been clamoring for a series reboot for years. In May 2012, after years of silence, we got our first rumor that the Legacy of Kain series would be revised, and today we got to see what we are in store for.
