Pottery Creator Hits Nintendo Wii Market

Pottery Creator Hits Nintendo Wii Market

I had to second look myself when I saw this one. I mean I have seen some slightly strange games in my time (just look at Pain on the PS3) but throwing a man around attempting to create as much pain as possible is less quirky than a game priding itself on being a pottery creator.

Perhaps throwing some clay on the wheel and crafting yourself a delightful bowl is more addictive than you might think but seeing as I don’t own a Wii, I think no special effort will be made on my part to obtain this one.

Believe it or not however this clay spinning piece of glory has managed to get 3 million downloads on the Android and iOS system and has now finally been released as WiiWare in North America for the fair price of 500 points. The pottery creator was rank one in the entertainment section of the Apple App Store in over 60 countries so maybe we should all put our faith in clay and get ourselves a copy.

To get on to a more descriptive aspect of the game, it enables you to create ‘one of a kind’ pottery items by throwing that lump of clay on the wheel and using a wide array of tools at your disposal to create some truly awe inspiring pieces, unleashing that artistic beast that deep down everyone has. Lets Create! Pottery boasts its therapeutic style that can be enjoyed with family and friends. Maybe we should give it to the Call of Duty kids to ease some of that built up tension from owning too many noobs with 360 no scopes and the like.

Lets Create! Pottery is not surprisingly rated ‘E’ for Everyone by the ESRB so there will be no accidental deaths or fatal pottery incidents in this game. However I for one would like to see how you look spinning pottery with a Wii Remote, maybe a couple of broken TV’s and lamps later you can boast to your family about your latest piece of work.
