Breaking news! SimBin Studios AB and RaceRoom Entertainment AG have recently announced a new Novice difficulty setting for the free-to-play racing game, RaceRoom Racing Experience also referred to as R3E.
The new Novice difficulty setting is designed specifically for beginners getting used to the game. This easier difficulty will help players assimilate to the controls of RaceRoom Racing Experience. In this new game setting, physics and code are set to an easier level, which helps prevent loss of car control. Players are free to experience driving the car at full speeds and the thrill that comes with it. First timer to a racing game? No worries. This new difficulty setting is for you.
“The introduction of the Novice difficulty serves to keep new drivers on the track while they learn about handling a car at high speeds. Much like modern driving assists, the features in Novice mode stay out of the way and take over only when things are about to go wrong for the car and driver. Our roots are in providing the most realistic racing experience possible, but we understand that even the fastest drivers have to start somewhere. It’s our hope that these new systems will be interesting and helpful to the next generation of race drivers”
– Klaus Wohlfarth, CEO Simbin Studios AB

In addition to the novice difficulty setting, RaceRoom Entertainment AG has also launched a new game controller featuring a miniature steering wheel. This controller offers for better car control versus racing without a steering wheel. Find more information here.
Personally, I really want to try out this controller after looking at it. But that’s just what I think, so don’t lose too much sleep over it.
RaceRoom Racing Experience is available for PC and can be downloaded for free on Steam.
