
Time to hit the road with the first of four expansion packs for Sanctum 2
Fans of Coffee Stain Studios Sanctum 2 will be very interested to learn that June 28th will see the first of four major DLC expansion packs, the Sanctum 2: Road to Elysion pack which is coming to Steam on June 28th.
Sanctum 2: Road to Elysion DLC packs will be “much more substantial and larger compared to the DLCs for the first Sanctum” according to Oscar Jilsen a lead designer. He also added that “Our goal with the DLCs for Sanctum 2 is to add more replayability and more mind-blowing madness for our biggest fans!”
Enough about the future DLC packs so let’s get back to talking about Sanctum 2 Road to Elysion DLC pack instead. The biggest addition to Road to Elysion pack is a brand new storyline with its own playable character TSYGAN who’s only information revealed so far is that his “shadowy”
Along with TSYGAN, you will also get two new weapons, one of which is a rapid-firing Gatling laser as well as two new towers including a support tower called the Range Spire which dramatically increases the range of all of your nearby offensive towers.
You will also get four new maps, each with their own interactive elements so each stage gets their own specific tactics as well as a variety of new enemies to take on from the annoying as hell healers as well as a new aerial boss fight to help keep you on your toes.
Finally you will also get six brand new perks to customize your characters with, one of which being a pet robot to fight for you.
The Sanctum 2: Road to Elysion expansion pack will cost you $3.99 on Steam and with three more packs on the way you just may be interested to know that there is a Sanctum 2 Season Pass available for purchase as well for $11.99 which includes all four of the planned expansion packs.
