Croteam and Devolver Digital announced today the release of the latest expansion to Serious Sam 3, which will be known as Jewel of the Nile.
The latest addition to Serious Sam set is to be released by October 2012 on the PC.
The expansion will contain three new campaign mission that fit into the story of the previous game, Serious Sam 3: Before First Encounter. You will follow Sam “Serious” Stone as he attempts to track down a lost and powerful artefact that will help him turn the tides of battle against Mental’s invading alien horde.
Davor Hunski who is known as the Chief Creative Guy at developer Croteam stated that they are “very excited” about the release of the expansion for Serious Sam 3, and that it tells more of Sam’s story and “cranks up the insanity“. Ladies and Gentlemen when a game is advertised as having aliens with the insanity having been ‘cranked up’ you know you are in for a winner.
Contrary to the title of the game “Serious Sam”, the guys over at Croteam and Devolver seem pretty laid back about their new expansion in the best way possible. CFO of Devolver Digital Fork Parker asked the question “So does this island of Philae (which will appear in the expansion) in Serious Sam 3: Jewel of the Nile have any topless beaches?” and further stated “The only thing better than fast-paced, over-the-top action is a perfect pair of digital flesh melons.”
To summarise this, Croteam and Devolver Digital are releasing Serious Sam 3: Jewel of the Nile which will be fast paced and insane with alot of aliens and monsters for you to kill. Tiger blood.
