Sleeping Dogs Brings More Bang For Your PC Gaming Buck

Those already looking forward to Sleeping Dogs on the PC have even more bones to get their mouths slobbering over as a pack of extra content has just been announced for the upcoming PC release of the game.

Gamers can look forward to an all new level of immersion with the launch day ‘High-Resolution Texture Pack’ which hopes to bring gamers one step-closer to the already beautiful criminal underworld of Hong Kong.

The pack which will be supporting those people with higher end PCs can look forward to a number of new features like great details to small in-game objects, enhanced draw distance which is now being increased to an incredible picture perfect scale in detail and an even more advanced lighting edging to make those skyline sunsets even more mesmerising than before. Sleeping Dogs will also bring a new selection of high quality shadow filters and will bring support for those hoping for Screen Space Ambient Occlusion.

Performance enhancements for PCs using dual and quad core setups will also receive enhanced support for Nvidia SLI and AMD Crossfire, along with keyboard and mouse set up options AND individual hotkey mapping. The game will also bring multi monitor and 3D support for users on both Nvidia and AMD hardware.
Steam users who have downloaded the free to play Team Fortress 2 will also have a few in game bonuses awaiting for them on release day as eight all new Sleeping Dogs themed items come to the TF2 world in the ‘Triad Pack’. With all new hats, tattoos and weapons for each class, along with an all new King of the Hill inspired map from the battle damaged streets of Hong Kong, it is no doubt that gamers who have purchased both of these games will have something to keep them busy through the slow gaming summer.

Sleeping Dogs will be available from 17th August 2012 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC through the Steam platform.
