Developed by United Front Games and in collaboration Square Enix London, the ruthless world of Sleeping Dogs invites players to enter the belly of organised crime as they explore the city of Hong Kong in one of the most action packed open world action games this year.
Players are given the opportunity to take on criminals in one of the biggest gun toting joyrides to date as they participate in nitro engaged street races, death defying shoot outs and viciously cinematic hand to hand combat. Defeat your enemies with skull breaking mixed martial arts by exploring an array of deadly combos in what is being called “the most intuitive and imaginative combat systems in gaming”.
Inspired by Chinese action movie classics like Hard Boiled and A Better Tomorrow. Sleeping Dogs lets every street corner be your playground by allowing you to use an assortment of bone crunching environmental takedowns through the use of market stores, vehicles and countless other real world objects like kitchen knives, cell phones and even refrigerator doors!
Not only will Sleeping Dogs give gamers a robust action experience with its gameplay but also includes an emotional, rollercoster of a story as Wei Shen makes allies, enemies and blurs the line of being an undercover cop.
Sleeping Dogs will be available from 17th August 2012 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PCs.
