Orders Are Now Being Taken For The PS Vita 2000 Coming This Spring!
Well with Nintendo releasing the “Nintendo 2DS” months earlier, it was only a matter of time before Sony threw its hat into the ring with the launch of the PS Vita 2000. The Vita 2000 is a slimmer model of the Vita and improves on the original design by adding a built in 1 Gb memory card and an extra 1 hour to the battery life bringing the total life to 6 hours. However, arguably the biggest incentive to upgrade is the bundle for its US release which will include a code to unlock a full copy of 2K’s hit Borderlands 2!
The code bundled in with the handheld’s release will unlock a full copy of Borderlands 2 along with all 6 DLC’s released for the game; Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, the Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1, and Collector’s Edition Pack. The idea of portable Borderlands 2 is enough to grab the attention of any gamer but that fact that all the DLC’s will be included pretty much seals the deal.
The New PS Vita 2000 has been out in Japan since October and the reviews have been favourable for the most part, praising the thinner, lighter feel of the device and the removal of the proprietary charging cable not to mention the fact that the device is selling for a cheaper (initial) price to the original Vita at $199.99 for the Borderlands Bundle.
