Survival Horror Game Dark Matter Will Be Published By Iceberg Interactive

Survival Horror Game Dark Matter is set to release for PC, Mac, and Linux, later in the fall of 2013. It is the second game being developed by the talented Interwave Studios, who have recently signed a publishing deal with Iceberg Interactive.

Michiel Beenen, Managing Director at Interwave Studios, says,

“Having worked with Iceberg Interactive before, we are confident that Dark Matter will be in good hands with them and we are looking forward to another great partnership.”

Dark matter is a 2.5D side-scrolling, survival horror game were you fight a horrific parasitic onslaught on a near destroyed spaceship. The player will go through 14 dangerous levels that consist of exploring the deadly ship in order to scavenge for parts and blueprints. Players will do this in a non linear fashion as the game allows you to freely explore the ship at your own risk. Players can also expand their arsenal with four powerful weapons that can each be toned to fit the your specific play style. Of course, what would a powerful weapon be without some elemental ammo that allows you too freeze, dissolve, electrocute, or set aliens in a almighty fire. Light and darkness works their way outside of the aesthetics as well, providing realistic challenges to the tactical gameplay. Your tactics will have to adjust to the darkness as shadows tend to move in a realistic format. All of this detail in design will prove to be even more eye catching since the game will have a beautiful hand painted art style. The game will be coming out soon, as it is in it’s final stages of development.
