CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE – 14th September 2012 – – NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. was pleased to announce that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is out now in retail stores across Europe and Australasia for PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® consoles. The original tag team brawler has returned featuring the largest roster of fighters in Tekken history, adding with a boost of fresh new features, a completely re-vamped online network and new song by Hip-Hop Icon Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion.
The Tekken series holds the title for being the most popular and successful fighting series in history, selling more than 40 million units to date. The developers are always continuing to find ways on improving the cult series and in the latest installment they’ve introduced numerous new features.
Fight Lab allows beginners and experienced players to learn from basic to advanced mechanics, while being able to tailor their own character by purchasing moves from other combatants. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 introduces new modes such as the four-player tag team matches, which allow four individual players in a single tag-team match able to control a character. One-on-one matches are now available if you want to play classic Tekken, along with a one-versus-two option for those experienced players looking to show off their skills. These new modes offer extra gameplay options for veteran Tekken fans while giving new players an easier point of access.
