The past few days the Wii U has had a few different selling prices within different stores. Finally, the UK retailer section has come to an agreement on the price coming up to it's very near release date of November 30th 2012. Amazon originally decided to offer the Wii U package for a great price of £200, with the overall trade price believed to be just £205.
GameStation however sent a message from good old Twitter, that suggested that they would be selling the Wii U in it's basic edition for £210 and the premium edition would cost gamers £250. Since then both outlets have amended their prices to fit a higher price tag and removed any evidence of previous promotional messages, so we won't be getting it for a nice low price after all. Many other major retailers have also announced how much they will be selling the Wii U console for.
The list is as follows:
Zavvi £230 (basic), £275 (premium)
HMV £250 (basic), £300 (premium)
Tesco £250 (basic), £300 (premium)
Sainsbury's £250 (basic), £300 (premium)
Amazon £250 (basic), £300 (premium)
GameStop £300 (basic), £300 (premium)
Simply Games £250 (basic), £300 (premium)
Play.com £260 (basic), £310 (premium)
GameStation £260 (basic), £310 (premium)
GAME £260 (basic), £310 (premium)
A free copy of NintendoLand will come with every premium version and the main difference between the basic and the premium versions is that the basic comes with an 8gb flash drive and the premium will come with a 32gb flash drive.
