The Walking Dead Video Game Has Been Announced by Activision Publishing Inc And Terminal Reality

The video game will see you as the well known character from the TV series, Daryl Dixon, who will be accompanied by his brother Merle. You will be taken across America to supposed safety of Atlanta in a do-what-you-will to survive first person shooter. The Walking Dead game by Terminal Reality will take the undead from the TV show and bring them in to the console gaming systems in a new and terrifying way. This means that fans of the show will be able to witness the relentless nature of the iconic walkers first hand, as they hunt down the players using a combination of sight, sound and smell.

The Walking Dead game will put your skills and strategy to the test as well as your aim, with each new area that requires exploring you will need to tread carefully. Once you are discovered it will not take long for you to an attract an unstoppable horde of the walkers, so it is up to you to analyse the situation carefully. On top of this, the resources and food are scarce in the Walking Dead video game. You will have to ration your supplies and carefully consider your medical needs.

Choice plays a big part in The Walking Dead video game, the other characters you meet will either help or hinder you, and whether or not they accompany Daryl on his journey is down to the discretion of the player.

The release date for the Walking Dead video game is scheduled for 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The rating is still pending by the ESRB but let’s hope for some true grizzly zombie survival action. You can’t sugar coat a zombie survivor if you are basing it off The Walking Dead!
