Indie developers release their masterpiece platform-puzzle game, Thomas Was Alone. to the PlayStation 3.
Thomas Was Alone follows the adventures of a red rectangle named Thomas. Players must move Thomas from one end of the map to the other to successfully complete it. It is a simple 2D game with easy to follow controls. The player must also jump over obstacles and avoid sharp spikes to make it to the end. The gameplay picks up when Thomas is introduced to other shapes and must find out if they are friendly or dangerous.
Created by designer Mike Bithell with a musical score, composed by David Houseden., that is pleasantly soothing and vibrantly beautiful.The entire game is narrated by award winning comedian and voice actor, Danny Wallace. His voice acting is hilarious and is one of the main reasons I purchased the game myself.
The game was originally released the summer of 2012 for the PC and Mac. Since then it was received BAFTA nominations for Best Story and Best Music. With all the success the game has seen gaming studio Curve Studios is pushing a release for the PlayStation console.

The game design is magnificent. Yes, playing as shapes we learned about in school seems boring but combined with the beautiful musical lineup provided and the hilarity of Danny Wallace, Thomas Was Alone has grown to be a classic in the gaming community.
Thomas Was Alone is available on Steam and now on the PlayStation Vita and PS3.
