Three new sessions added to GDC Europe 2013

Anyone interested in game developing may want to pay attention

August 19th will start the three day GDC Europe event which this year is taking place in Cologne, Germany and now three more sessions have been added to the event including two vendor sessions by Nintendo.

Starting with Monday, platform company Havok will be hosting a “Project Anarchy Introduction”.  It will be an hour long and will cover their new free mobile game engine which they released last month for iOS, Android and Tizen developers.

The hour will explain how you can make exciting, graphically rich mobile games easier as well as review the available toolsets.

Tuesday will host the Google Developer Day which will begin with teaching you how to use Google’s monetization and promotional tools to help grow your games company as well as a decision on multi-platform gaming with Google Cloud.

Unfortunately Google Developer Day will have a first come, first served rule tied to it so if you want to go, you should arrive early.

Also on Tuesday will be the “Acquiring the Most Valuable Users for Your Game” which will have members of Google’s staff covering how you could focus on making the most lifetime value for your customers and how you could make a data driven advertisement.

Tuesday appears to be a busy day for the GDC Europe 2013 because there is also a “Measuring and Optimizing Games using Google Mobile App Analytics” which will explain how you can use this tool to literate gameplay experience and establish new monetization models.

Finally on Wednesday Jason Park, the Neowiz CRS development director, will be doing a “Redefining the MMO” talk on how you can get the most out of next-generation technology as well as the Havok tools and he will be using his upcoming Project Black Sheep as a case study.
