Ubisoft officially launched Uplay PC, a service that connects PC gamers to Uplay’s community and acts a digital distribution platform. To make things even sweeter for the Ubisoft community out there, they are also kick off a special, limited time promotion, making some Ubisoft PC games available for as little as £1 through Uplay.
Uplay already has a strong community, over 35 million members strong, and is available across Ubisoft games and platforms. Uplay PC let’s gamers access all of their Uplay PC titles and services in one place, eliminating the need for individual launchers. Uplay PC also has some new features, including a shop, the ability to buy and download games, a friends list, and a chat system all to enhance the PC gamers’ experience.
In order to get players to download and try Uplay PC for themselves, Ubisoft is creating PC versions of some of their most popular titles including: Driver®: San Francisco, From Dust®, Silent Hunter® 5 and Tom Clancy’s® H.A.W.X.® 2, all of which will be available for £1 for a limited time. Titles such as Anno 2070™, Assassin’s Creed® II, Assassin’s Creed® Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed® Revelations, Might & Magic®: Heroes® VI, Tom Clancy’s® Splinter Cell Conviction® will be available at a discount up to 75% off. But those who want to get in on this deal will have to act fast because this is a limited time offer as well.
