Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown has been given a release date of June 5th-6th 2012.
For what you would think would be a retail game, is in fact a download only title.
Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will release on the Playstation Network first on the 5th June, followed by Xbox Live Arcade on the 6th.
The price will be $14.99/ £9.99 on the PS Network or 1,200 Microsoft Points for XBLA.
Like with current trends of DLC, Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will be no exception.
It will release packs on launch ready to be downloaded, adding character customisation.
Each pack will retail at $4.99/ £3.59 for the PS3, and 400 Microsoft Points for XBLA.
Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will bring the latest of arcade games to consoles.
New to the console game are all new modes:
- Training mode
- Eight player online matches
- A replay feature, to save and upload matches.
AM2, the developers of the game and series, believe this is the best version yet and hope to bring in new audiences, and please fans alike.
