Breaking news as the Xbox Live community erupts via Twitter as Microsoft’s Xbox Live unexpectedly goes down without warning.
Subscribers of Xbox Live can visit the company’s Twitter feed directly for continuous updates on the matter as it progresses. The software giant has informed its users that their online services are experiencing difficulties and that gamers will not be able to sign into Xbox Live through their Xbox 360 or via the official site at Xbox.com.
“We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue,” Microsoft wrote on the Status page. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.”
Other Microsoft services have also gone offline, such as their Zune and online video services.
