A new game entitled 16 Bit Arena can be pre-ordered on Amazon.com with the full release coming on March 26. It will be sold on Desura.com and Greenmangaming.com, and is now in Steam’s Greenlight community approval process. The game is being sold early at a couple of other locations including IndieVania.com and IndieCity.com but the game servers will only become fully available on the actual release date of on March 26.
The game’s features include:
– Fighting in turn-based multiplayer battles up to 9v9 with retro graphics
– Entering battle as either a Warrior, Mage, Rogue, or Healer of either gender, and use a card to transform into any of the 16 characters, combining their stats and abilties with your class’s.
– Elemental properties for every character; collect gems that lets you choose your element, and cast its magic.
– Gaining Charge during battle to deal more damage, boost specific stats, or just save your turns for later and take down an enemy in one turn.
– A great soundtrack to accompany your battles
– Journeying through eight intense Trials to gain cards and gems for use in the Arena.
– Enjoying a 2-player tactical-RPG-style Card Game which is a great additional game on its own, as it lets you earn cards and gems as well.
– Site includes a webcomic that is updated weekly, featuring the eight Paladins from the game.
Thinking strategically in large battle situations to the real guitar soundtrack that accompanies the retro graphic style, this game promises to be a very unique and it is a highly anticipated game.
