Codemasters revealed that the 1976 Ferrari 312 T2 which was used in the movie Rush starring Chris Hemsworth (Thor) , Daniel Bruhl ( Inglourious Basterds) , Olivia Wilde (Cowboys & Aliens) , and directed by Ron Howard, will be playable for gamers who sign up via racenet.com for the upcoming game F1 2013.
This is the latest entry in the award-winning series of the officially licensed FORMULA 1. F1 2013 is set to launch on October 4th in the UK, for PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360 , and PC. And is now available for per-order. The game will also feature all the wonderfully looking cars and driving starts from the 2013 season. You will be able to step into the shoes of Lewis Hamilton and race his Mercedes , or you can race as Sergio Perez in his McLaren-Mercedes.
What’s new is F1 2013:
- F1 Classics – Introduced by legendary broadcaster Murray Walker, race legends of the sports in classic cars on famous tracks. Play solo, split-screen, or multiplayer modes.
- Grand Prix mode- Play the full or custom season, and step in to the racing shoes of your favorite driver
- Young Driver Test (Expanded) – The young driver test is expanded in F1 2013, and is based on the real world event. It will give you all the techniques you need to progress from rookie to elite driver.
- Glorious Formula One – Players will be able to immerse themselves in the world’s most visually striking racing sport with new graphical improvements and realistic AI driver behaviour.
The game will come in two editions: F1 2013 will include the full game of the current season, and classic content for the 1980’s, which will be playable in the new game mode F1 classics. And players can alternatively choose to purchase F1 2013:Classic Edition, this premium version of the game features, content and classic track packs for the 1990’s, and bespoke box art.
