Nintendo 3DS Best Selling Platform Four Months in a Row

NNintendo 3DS Best Selling PlatformINTENDO 3DS best selling platform title holds strong with an impressive lineup of popular titles which has kept the 3DS  at the top of the best-selling list for four consecutive months. More than 6.47 million units of the platform have been sold in 2013 so far, an increase of almost 30 percent compared to the same time frame last year. With some big name titles such as Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon it is no surprise that only nine Nintendo 3DS titles have sold over 3 million combined physical and digital units. Nintendo 3DS Best Selling PlatformTHIS FALL Nintendo 3DS fans will have even more to look forward to. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Mario Party: Island Tour will be released November 22nd. While Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are set to launch next month on October 12th, along with the new Nintendo 2DS.The Nintendo 2DS is an entry level portable game system which plays all Nintendo 3DS and DS games in 2D- the suggested retail price is $129.99.

THE WII U has some exciting new releases coming this fall as well. The Wonderful 101 (Sept 15), The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker HD (Physical: Oct 4, Digital Sept 20), Wii Party U (Oct 25), Super Mario 3D World (Nov. 22), Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Dec 6) and the Wii Fit U (Holiday). Nintendo will also release a limited-edition bundle for the Wii U. The Wii U bundle features The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD at the Wii U Deluxe price of $299.99.
