The sequel to the surprisingly popular wiiware title “spot the differences” has been announced for release in early September on the Wii U eShop with the intention to be bigger, bolder and better than its predecessor.
The original spot the differences could be considered a risky investment at the best of times but regardless it managed to be highly successful on all platforms as the game was listed at one point as the 6th best PlayStation mini of all time the ios version was the number 1 app for 11 days in Italy.
The new game, spot the differences party, is going to transcend the limitations of the original by moving to the much more powerful Wii U system. The game will feature 360 high definition scenes with a grand total of 3,600 differences to find. You can play the game on either the Wii U pad or on the TV with Wii remotes or you can even play with family members with two different kinds of multiplayer modes.
Synchronous Multiplayer Mode: In this game mode, one player plays on the gamepad while the other uses the tv and they compete to see who can spot the most differences.
Turn Based Multiplayer Mode: In this game mode, every player takes a turn to spot the differences on the gamepad after which there is a replay on the tv to see who spotted the most differences.
The Game will be released on the Wii U on September 5th.
