Latest video footage of Resident Evil Revelations shows long-time series antagonist HUNK as a playable character in the upcoming re-release for Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation 3.
Those who didn’t get a chance to play Resident Evil Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS last year, will get a chance on Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation 3 as Capcom have decided to re-release the game that won much critical acclaim when it arrived last year.
Resident Evil Revelations returned to the basics with survival horror gameplay, low supplies of ammunition, and a heavy emphasis on exploration and puzzle solving. The game could be played in either first or third person view, and could move while aiming a weapon – both features that fans have complained about not having in recent installments.
For those who know little about Resident Evil Revelations, the game takes place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 and follows the originals game’s protagonists, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield.
Now with this latest trailer for the Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation 3 versions, new updates will be made including the inclusion of Hunk, who we last saw in Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City. Now we all know Hunk is totally bad-ass, and very capable on his own as we can see in the trailer. Hunk has no problem taking out his enemies with some style, whether with his trusty weapons, or well perfected melee take-downs.
Resident Evil Revelations is shaping up pretty well on consoles considering it came out on handheld and could be a great installment in perhaps what has been missing in the series in some time. Resident Evil 6 didn’t live up to many people’s expectations nor did Resident Evil Operation: Raccoon City last year.
Fans of the Resident Evil franchise can look forward to Resident Evil Revelations on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U consoles on May 21st in North America and May 24th in Europe.
