Castlevania Amongst this week’s Nintendo Downloads

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow-Mirror of Fate  is now available to download now on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Nintendo have also revealed other downloads including Nano Assault EX, and Legend of the River King and Metal Slug 4.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow-Mirror of Fate arrives on the Nintendo 3DS this week.This sequel takes place 25 years after Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and follows the famous Belmont clan as they set out to find and destroy the ruthless Dracula. The game features multiple playable characters and combines both 2D classic side-scrolling game play with full 3D areas.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow-Mirror of Fate is available on the 3DS eShop from the 8th March for £39.99.

In Nano Assault EX gamers must stop the deadly Nanostray virus from spreading and contaminating civilisation. The game is a fast-paced action shooter set within a visually stunning cellular system that leaps off the screen in full 3D .Players can control their microscopic Nanite ship inside the dangerous virus to fight off infections, navigate through alien cell clusters, battle bosses, and ultimately analyse and destroy the virus’ core to save humanity.

Nano Assault EX is available to download from the 3DS eShop for £12.49.

Legend of the River King is a 1997 gameboy colour game where gamers are cast off into a unique role-playing adventure. Legend of the River King places gamers in the shoes of a young fisherman seeking a mystical fish to cure his sick sister. Players must endure a perilous quest, angling through streams, rivers and raging rapids. In the game players can sell their fish at local markets to buy supplies, and do battle with local predators trying to steal their catches. You can also raise a virtual pet fish and watch it grow, and even evolve into another species.

Legend of the River King is available on the 3DS eShop for £4.49.

Metal Slug

Metal Slug 4 is the Nintendo Wii’s only offering this week. Metal Slug 4 is the fifth installment in the series. In the game, players choose from four different mercenaries and battle against the terrorist group “Amadeus”. In Metal gamers can skilfully jump and shoot their way through enemies while picking up items to replenish their weapons. Metal Slug 4 also introduces the all-new Metallish System, an interesting bonus scoring system that puts a new spin on the game. Additionally, there are new items and characters, creating a fresh new take on the Metal Slug universe.

Metal Slug 4 is available via WiiWare for 900 points. (Around £9.00).
