Fans of Final Fantasy X and X-2, rejoice! Square Enix has announced HD remastered versions of these PS2 hits. Although no released date has been given, it seems that only PS3 and PS Vita owners will be able to enjoy these classic entries in the Final Fantasy series. The games will be available on PS3 as a single-disc bundle, or may be purchased as separate titles on the Vita.
“These games are classic fan-favorites, and we hope that new and old Final Fantasy fans can experience the world of Spira and the story of Tidus and Yuna in a brand-new light with these remastered editions,”
said Yoshinori Kitase, producer of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2.
Suare Enix will be releasing the official announcement trailer on Monday, March 25th, and promise to release further details at a later date.
