At Cologne, Germany, EA and DICE were excited to announce at Gamescom 2013 that Battlefield 4 Premium, a service that like on Battlefield 3, will provide fans of the series a wealthy amount of content throughout the year after the game is released.

The expansions include: China Rising, Second Assault, Naval Strike, Dragon’s Teeth, and the mysterious Final Stand. All of this is available for premium members two weeks early before the public and gain access to new weapons and vehicles.

Battlefield 4 membership will include the following features:

The new Battlefield 4 Battlepacks will add all new experiences to the leveling system, and through the players career they will receive new camo packs, dog tags, knifes, XP boosts, and gun attachments. Premium members will receive twelve of these battlepacks,

The beta for Battlefield 4 was also announced to release in early October and be exclusive to Battlefield 3 premium owners, those that pre-ordered Battlefield 4 digital deluxe, and owners of Medal of Honor: Warfighter digital deluxe and limited edition for three days. DICE will then release the beta to the public featuring the map Siege of Shanghai on the popular Conquest mode. Battlefield 4 will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October 29th and next gen consoles at a later date.
