Guild Wars ‘Twilight Assault’ Goes Live on October 1st.

Details emerged today regarding a content update for the massively multi-player on-line role-playing game Guild Wars II titled ‘Twilight Assault.’

‘Twilight Assault’ goes live on October 1st for PC and Mac OS-X and joins the quality repertoire of additional content that ArenaNet have been adding to at an impressive rate of every two weeks.

In addition to the massive amount of update features in ‘Twilight Assault’, a new campaign will be available to players. Trouble is lurking in Twilight Arbor, with the villainous Scarlet Briar leader of the Aetherblades as a primary suspect. Sylvari hero Caithe has issued a request for heroes worthy enough to put an end to Scarlet’s wrongdoings, which Players will be able to approach in either solo or co-operative play.

Furthermore, ArenaNet are set to launch the very first season of the upcoming World vs. World competition on Friday 4th October until Monday 21st November. In this mode, players battle one another on gigantic maps rather than the traditional combat arenas.

Other added content available to Guild Wars fans include new Achievement Rewards, Exotic Nightmare Weapons and Aether Chests. ArenaNet claim this trendsetting commitment to added content has led to them establishing a pace quicker than any other western competitor.

Additionally, an early look at this release will be premiered on LiveStream as ArenaNet developers preview the content on Monday, 30th Sept, at 21:00 Eastern Time.

Aspiring writer, I enjoy taking random drives to places I have never been, watching the football, spending time with family and of course, the odd bit of gaming.
